P TA clears PTCL-Telenor merger with strict conditions

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has approved the  merger  of Telenor Pakistan with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL), though it imposed strict conditions to prevent abuse of market power and to bind the new entity to invest in upcoming spectrum auctions. The PTA believes these measures are necessary to ensure fair competition in the telecom sector, particularly given PTCL’s dominant market position. In line with an earlier decision by the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP), the PTA has also treated PTCL and its mobile arm Ufone (Pak Telecommunication Mobile Ltd, PTML) as separate legal entities, barring any cross-subsidy between them and requiring the maintenance of separate accounts. Instagram Viral 19-Minute Video’ Takes Over Google Searches — But Here’s What Really Happens When You Look for It

The phrase “Instagram viral 19-minute video” has suddenly become one of the most searched terms on Google, triggering massive curiosity across Instagram, X, Telegram and other social media platforms.

phrase “Instagram viral 19-minute video”has suddenly become one of the most searched terms on Google, triggering massive curiosity across Instagram, X, Telegram and other social media platforms. But cybersecurity teams are now warning that the entire viral trend is a scam, being used by organised fraud networks to spread malware and steal personal data.

The rumoured clip is said to be a “19-minute 34-second intimate video,” yet no such verified video exists anywhere online. Experts confirm that the keyword’s popularity is being exploited to trick users into clicking harmful links disguised as the so-called “full video.”

How Scammers Are Using the Viral Keyword to Spread Malware

Investigators have found that scam pages are sharing:

  • Shortened URLs
  • Fake landing pages
  • Redirect links
  • Screenshots claiming to show “part of the video”

The moment a user clicks these links, malicious files may begin installing silently, giving attackers access to:

  • Saved passwords
  • Banking information
  • Stored OTPs
  • Email and social media logins
  • Private files on the device

Some scammers even message users directly, demanding payment to “unlock the full 19-minute video.”
Cyber experts confirm there is no legitimate clip — all circulating links are either clickbait or malware traps.

Viral Trend That Could Cost You Your Data — or Worse

As the term Instagram viral 19-minute video”continues to attract massive online searches, specialists warn that this is one of the most dangerous bait trends of the year.

Most viral “mystery videos” online are:

  • Fake
  • Illegal
  • Designed to exploit curiosity

This trend is no different — and clicking even once can lead to financial loss, identity theft, or legal trouble.
