Ambassador Tirmizi Meets Christian Leaders to Give Support to Pakistani Community in UAE

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi received Rev. Dr. Robinson Asghar, Apostolic Leader and Vice President of IFGF Global, and other Pakistani Christian leaders who are stationed in the UAE. The reception was conducted to address the concerns of the Pakistani Christian community that resides in the United Arab Emirates. Rev. Dr. Asghar thanked Ambassador Tirmizi for his ongoing support of the Pakistani Christian diaspora. He welcomed the efforts by the embassy in assisting and counseling the community on various issues. Pakistan's Vibrant Culture and Art Take Center Stage in Abu Dhabi



The Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi played host to a captivating art exhibition celebrating Pakistan's rich cultural heritage and artistic diversity. The event, which took place on Pakistan Day, brought together artists from various nationalities, including Pakistan, Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon.


H.E. Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan's Envoy to the UAE, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Ambassador Tirmizi commended the hotel's management for organizing an event that highlighted Pakistan's profound cultural heritage and vast tourism potential.


"Cultural diplomacy plays a vital role in fostering people-to-people connections," Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized. "Art, music, cuisine, and sports have the power to unite people. For greater harmony and peace, we must encourage more cultural exchanges."


The exhibition featured a fusion of traditional and contemporary artworks by artists from diverse backgrounds. Following the inauguration, Ambassador Tirmizi took a guided tour, engaging with artists and appreciating their creative expressions.


Mr. Iftikhar Hamdani, Area General Manager of Bahī Ajman Palace Hotel and Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, welcomed the Ambassador and expressed gratitude for his presence. He reiterated the hotel's commitment to promoting cultural exchanges and supporting initiatives that bridge communities through art.


The ceremony concluded with Ambassador Tirmizi distributing certificates to the participating artists in recognition of their contributions to art and culture. A special cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate Pakistan Day, adding a festive touch to the event.
