The UAE continues to showcase its significant humanitarian efforts in Gaza through extensive aid deliveries. As part of "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3," the UAE recently dispatched a fourth aid ship carrying 5,340 tonnes of supplies, including 4,750 tonnes of food and 590 tonnes of shelter materials. This initiative, coordinated with Egyptian authorities, ensures that critical relief reaches Gaza through the Rafah border crossing.
Additionally, the UAE has provided substantial medical aid, with 20 tonnes of supplies delivered to Gaza hospitals. This assistance is crucial given the collapse of the healthcare infrastructure in the region, exacerbated by the ongoing conflict. The medical aid includes essential medications and equipment necessary to support overwhelmed healthcare facilities.
These efforts underscore the UAE's commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, providing not only immediate relief but also long-term support through infrastructure projects like bakeries and desalination plants. These initiatives aim to sustain and improve the living conditions for thousands of Palestinians in the region.
