Ambassador Tirmizi Meets Christian Leaders to Give Support to Pakistani Community in UAE

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi received Rev. Dr. Robinson Asghar, Apostolic Leader and Vice President of IFGF Global, and other Pakistani Christian leaders who are stationed in the UAE. The reception was conducted to address the concerns of the Pakistani Christian community that resides in the United Arab Emirates. Rev. Dr. Asghar thanked Ambassador Tirmizi for his ongoing support of the Pakistani Christian diaspora. He welcomed the efforts by the embassy in assisting and counseling the community on various issues. He also articulated the concerns and challenges the Christian community encounters living abroad. During the meeting, Rev. Dr. Asghar also laid down several proposals. These proposals were to enhance the welfare and support mechanism of Pakistani Christians in the UAE. Trumps RNC speech: A mixture of Boasts and attacks.

 


Donald Trump’s first public speech after the failed assassination attempt highlighted the final night at the National Convention. Trump spoke five days after gunmen opened fire during his rally in Pennsylvania, leaving one attendee dead, two others severely  injured and Trump with a wounded ear. His speech last night was Quintessentially Trump. The former president address was a characteristic of boasts, attacks and controversial claims that left many in audience to cheer and people at home to likely shook their head in disbelief.

Trump’s speech was greatest hits collection of his  favorite themes, from touting his economic achievements to bashing his political opponents. He also spoke about the  fimiliar conspiracies and claim, including his false claim that election 2020 was stolen. 

While Trumps speech was predictably polarizing, it also highlighted his ability to connect to his base. His supporters likely found his remarks energizing and reassuring while detractors saw more of the same constructive rhetoric that defines Trump’s political career. 

 Trump’s speech also included controversial elements, such as  comments on legal battles and attacks on political opponents. These aspects of his address were likely to intended to rally his supporters to positioning him as a victim of political prosecution, this reinforcing him as a fighter against a corrupt system. 

Ultimately, Trump's speech at the RNC served as a reminder that he remains a highly controversial and influential figure in American politics. Love him or hate him, Trump's words carry weight, and his continued presence on the political stage ensures that the nation will remain divided for the foreseeable future. As the political landscape continues to evolve, one thing is certain - Donald Trump will remain a force to be reckoned with.
