Today in Islamabad, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the former leader of the PML-N, officially founded his own political party, "Awaam Pakistan". Other previous leaders of the PML-N, such as Miftah Ismail, Mehtab Abbasi, and Dr. Zafar Mirza, were present at the inaugural event. According to Abbasi, the party will not support any actions that are against the constitution and that its objective is to alter Pakistan's current system of government.
The party secretary, Miftah Ismail, claimed that the budget and economic policies of the present administration benefit the wealthy at the expense of the average person. He also underlined the significance of public participation in politics and the economy. The party's flag is green and blue with the party name printed on it, and its slogan is "Badlenge Nizam" (We Will Change the System).
Speaking at the event was Abbasi, who stated that Awaam Pakistan embodies the new vision that the nation needs. He attacked the political elite for prioritizing retaining their positions over the needs of the general populace. Additionally, he underlined that the party will only consider candidates who will positively impact the nation.
Many regard the creation of Awaam Pakistan as a challenge to the incumbent government, marking a significant shift in Pakistan's political landscape. Many Pakistanis who are disenchanted with the country's current political system may find resonance in the party's emphasis on transforming the system of government and advancing economic possibilities for everybody.okay
