Peshawar University Announces Winter Holidays

  The University of Peshawar has officially announced its winter vacation schedule for the 2025–26 academic session. According to the notification, the university will remain closed from December 22, 2025, to January 3, 2026. During this period, all academic and administrative offices will be closed. However, the university has emphasized that all scheduled exams and tests will continue as planned, and students are advised to follow the existing academic timetable. University authorities stated that the winter break is part of the seasonal academic calendar and aims to give students and staff adequate time to rest and prepare for the upcoming term. Regular classes and administrative operations will resume on January 3, 2026.

Fly-Dubai expands its routes in Pakistan

 

Through the addition of additional routes and improved connectivity between the two regions, Flydubai has greatly increased the size of its network in Pakistan. The airline based in Dubai currently operates direct flights to Pakistan's locations, including Quetta, Sialkot, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Quetta. This growth is a component of flydubai's larger plan to improve relations with Pakistan and meet the significant demand for air travel between the two countries.


Flydubai has announced opening four additional routes to Pakistan, expanding the airline's reach within the nation. Noting the historical and commercial ties between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, the airline's CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, underlined the significance of these routes in promoting travel and commerce links. The goal of flydubai is to improve regional connections, and this growth provides passengers with more travel options.

Moreover, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and flydubai have an interline arrangement. Through this partnership, both airlines are able to provide passengers seamless connectivity over a larger network by selling seats on one other's flights. Travelers can now reserve a single ticket that covers both flydubai and PIA travel, for instance, which facilitates connections via Dubai to a number of locations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Central Asia, and beyond.

This network expansion and strategic partnership demonstrate flydubai's dedication to meeting the rising demand for travel services between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Flydubai is well-positioned to play a significant role in strengthening bilateral ties and facilitating traveler mobility for both business and pleasure by offering more convenient and frequent flying options.
