While leading automakers such as Pak Suzuki and Kia have raised vehicle prices following the implementation of new taxes under the Federal Budget 2025–26, Sazgar Engineering has taken a different approach. In an official announcement, the company stated that it will absorb the cost of the newly introduced New Energy Vehicles (NEV) Adoption Levy. As a result, Haval vehicle prices will remain unchanged. This decision comes at a time when Pak Suzuki Motor Company and Kia Lucky Motors increased their prices, citing the increased sales tax rate and additional levies introduced in the new fiscal policy. The iCube Qamar was launched on board China’s Chang’e-6 from Hainan, China, on May 3.
According to the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), iCube Qamar entered Lunar orbit on May 8.
The satellite is equipped with two cameras, which is taking pictures of the moon from a distance of 200 kilometers.
The landmark images were unveiled at a ceremony organised at the China National Space Agency (CNSA) to mark the successful mission accomplishment, IST spokesperson and head of Department of Electrical and Computer Science, Dr Khurram Khursheed told.
