Haval Pakistan Announces Good News About Car Prices

While leading automakers such as Pak Suzuki and Kia have raised vehicle prices following the implementation of new taxes under the Federal Budget 2025–26, Sazgar Engineering has taken a different approach. In an official announcement, the company stated that it will absorb the cost of the newly introduced New Energy Vehicles (NEV) Adoption Levy. As a result, Haval vehicle prices will remain unchanged. This decision comes at a time when Pak Suzuki Motor Company and Kia Lucky Motors increased their prices, citing the increased sales tax rate and additional levies introduced in the new fiscal policy. Suzuki models like the Alto, Cultus, and Swift saw noticeable price hikes, while Kia increased rates across most of its popular vehicles, including Sportage and Picanto. Iran and Pakistan Address Border Security and Cooperation Amidst Rising Tensions

In a joint press conference held in Islamabad, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian expressed concerns about the presence of militants in the border regions of Pakistan and Iran, whom he believes are being supported and led by third countries. He emphasized that these militants pose a threat to the security of both nations and stated that Iran and Pakistan will not allow any opportunity for these terrorists to endanger their shared security.

During the meeting, Abdollahian and interim Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani discussed the importance of robust dialogue and cooperation to strengthen bilateral relations. They agreed to take immediate action in terms of border security and combating terrorism. Additionally, they emphasized the need to expand trade, commercial, and economic cooperation.

To ensure effective communication and progress in various areas of cooperation, the two countries have decided to establish a high-level mechanism at the level of foreign ministers. This mechanism will meet regularly in both Iran and Pakistan to oversee the implementation of joint initiatives.

However, amidst these efforts to ease tensions, a tragic incident occurred in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan province near the border with Pakistan. Nine Pakistani workers were shot dead by unidentified attackers. The victims were from different districts in Punjab, Pakistan. Iranian authorities are investigating the incident, and Pakistan has urged for a swift investigation and accountability for those responsible.

As the families of the victims protested the attack, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran assured that two injured Pakistanis would soon be discharged from the hospital.

The incident serves as a reminder of the security challenges faced by both Iran and Pakistan. It highlights the urgency of their cooperation in addressing terrorism and maintaining the safety of their shared border.

Overall, Iran and Pakistan are committed to enhancing their relations, addressing mutual concerns, and working together to ensure peace and security in the region.
