Karachi mourns the loss of an exceptional medical professional as Dr. Seemin Jamali, former executive director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), passed away on Saturday. Her departure leaves a void in the medical community, where she was revered for her unwavering commitment and significant contributions.

Dr. Jamali's brother, Bilal Memon, confirmed that she had been battling cancer and was under the care of Aga Khan University Hospital for the past eight days. Unfortunately, her health declined, and she breathed her last at 7:30 pm. She was 61 years old.

Throughout her career, Dr. Seemin Jamali exhibited remarkable dedication and served as an inspiration to her colleagues and aspiring medical professionals. Her tireless efforts in the field of medicine earned her respect and admiration from all quarters.
